Manik Sarkar has been officially elected as the Senior Joint Convener of the Bhandar Sobat Chhaya branch of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Malaysia. The appointment was confirmed following a recent organizational meeting held by the Malaysia wing of the party.
Strengthening the Overseas Wing The appointment is part of the party’s ongoing efforts to restructure and strengthen its overseas units. As Senior Joint Convener, Mr. Manik Sarkar is expected to play a pivotal role in organizing party activities, coordinating with the central leadership in Bangladesh, and addressing the concerns of the Bangladeshi expatriate community living in the Bhandar Sobat Chhaya region.
A Commitment to the Party Upon his election, Manik Sarkar expressed his gratitude to the party high command and fellow members. He vowed to uphold the ideals of the BNP and work tirelessly to mobilize the grassroots supporters in Malaysia.
“My primary goal is to unite the expatriate brothers under the banner of the BNP and work towards the restoration of democracy in our homeland,” Sarkar stated during a brief reception following the announcement.
